Response to Questions on Yousef al Khattab -

abu qital said...salamu alikum

this is message for brother Yuonus. Eid Mubarak ahki i hope you and your family are well. I just like thank all the brothers at Islampolicy becuase they are doing are very important job in connecting the ummah with the taifah mansourah and promoting the true creed of ASWJ, by proclaiming wala bara, rejecting the taghout and shariah. brother Younus i would like you to clarify points that Yusuf al khattab on a statement on his website, primarily the reason behind leaving RM and his differences with you. On his website he says that the best way to furhter an islamic movement is through the 'democratic system'. We know democracy is kufr because Allah is the legislator and democracy is secular ideaology with is incompatibile with islam. second he says he retracts his stance of toppling the apostate regimes in muslim countries due to blood being spilled and he condems 9/11 7/7 etc. Now brother Yunous you know Yusuf better then i do and do you think he made these statements due to his individual circumstance and location where there are draconian laws that crimanalise law free speech.therefore, i should treat them with 'pinch of salt'. or is this his true position now regarding these issues.
brother Yunous i would also like to ask you that you are well spoken and intellegent person mashAllah. what advice can you give me to be like you and what books would you recommend i read to increase general knowledge on current events and global affairs.

Al-hamdulilaah this site is up and running. Truly the truth is clear from the batil May Allah protect the Ummah. Brother Abu Qatil asked one of the questions I had about brother Yousef. My other curious question is how you felt about brother Zachary and Bilal ( fakka Allahu asrahum) and what you think of them being arrested?
Allahi Barak Fi Akhi wasalamulaikum warahamtullahi wabarakatuhu:

Bismillah, Whomsoever Allah guides none can misguide and whosoever goes astray none can guide him but Allah.  The prophet (saws) is reported to have said, “Establish the limits (Hudood) of Allah near and far, and do not let the blame of the blamers affect you.”

And also,

By the One who my soul is in His Hand, the Hour will not be established until Allah sends rulers who are liars, and ministers who are immoral, and supporters who are traitors, and knowledgeable people who are oppressors, and readers (of Quran) who are sinful, their appearance is like the appearance of holy people, and their hearts are more rotten than dead meat, their desires are different and so Allah will send upon them fitna which will cover them in darkness and so they will be destroyed therein. By the One who the soul of Mohammad biyadihi, Islam will be taken away part by part, until it is not even said Allah Allah, You will (must) enjoin the good, and you will (must) forbid the evil, or Allah will make sovereign over you the worst of you, who will afflict you with the worst of punishment, then the best of you will make Du’a and it will not be answered.

And finally,

The example of the one who stands for the Hudood of Allah and the one who compromises the Hudood of Allah are like the people in a boat, some of whom occupy the upper deck and some occupy the lower deck. Whenever those in the lower deck need water, they have to go to the upper deck to retrieve it. So some of them said, ‘why don't we make a hole in our deck so we do not harm the people of the upper deck?' If the people do not stop them, they will all fall and be failures, but if they stop them they will all be saved.

We do not see those groups like Ikhwan alMuslimeen or the democratic parties in Muslim lands calling for the huddod, however we see them manipulating the shariah, lying and deceiving.  In fact, since the time of Hassan al Banna, they have achieved nothing and today they promote a secularist Baradei as the future for Egypt. This is true across the world where they are active, they have left the call to shariah altogether because it is not popular and there is absolutely no evidence for the pragmatic or gradual implementation of Allah’s law, at least if you refer to Quran and Sunnah.

Our struggle is one about the implementation of Allah’s law on Earth for the benefit and emancipation of humanity.   The interesting thing, in light of the hadith aforementioned  however (this too long a topic to cover fully here) is that in hadith mutawattir Muhammad (saws) also said, “as you are so are the leaders above you.”  So we have a horrendous condition which is responsible for our fall, but we must also change the condition of the general Muslims rather than blaming all our woes on those above us.  The mujahideen see themselves as a vanguard, creating the void that will allow Islam and Khilafah to be established but the general Muslims away from the fields of jihad must exert effort to help define the call, the principles, educate about the enemy, and counter Western propaganda. As the Prophet (saws) also said, “wage jihad against the polytheists with wealth, self, and tongue,” it is comprehensive.
We believe that it is clear who is fulfilling the obligation of working for the huddod in the present era; there have been calls for democracy and others of pragmatic nature since the ummah fell into decay, and a thorough study of any system and its worldly implementation shows that division and discord are the norm. This was true of the Muslims directly after the death of the Prophet and throughout time.  It is true even of modern nation states born out of religious strife and even in America where Shay's Rebellion created the Continental Congress in 1787. It will also be true as Islam plays an increasing role in world affairs and so those trying to use Islam to come to power, personally and as groups, try to portray the mujahideen as senseless terrorists, even though they know this is not true. I say this to remind you that there will never be an ideal, not in this dunya and that the blame of the blamers will also remain, as everyone has different intentions, and our goal at this stage is to clarify some of that path.

Yousef al Khattab unfortunately, has relegated his intellect to that of Yusef Qaradawi, who he considers an ijma in and of himself due to his alleged “popularity”.  Qaradawi is popular because Muslims love to hear that they can dance, sing, eat ribaa, kill Afghans and do all kinds of sin and munkar.  Yousef interprets this as unity based upon a complete misunderstanding of the hadith which says that the ummah will not unite on falsehood.... a quick glance at the hadith in relation to the Quran, other hadith and what the ulama have said shows that it is a reference to ijmaa throughout time and to the cumulative history of Islam, that the truth will remain through consensus known to the sincere ones unblinded by ulterior motive.  We have read from his scholar, Qaradawi more than he has, but weigh not by popularity today in a time of fitnah but by what the ummah has agreed upon throughout the ages.  So, in conclusion we feel that he has deviated from the clear truth and recommend everyone simply forget about him, pray for a different circumstance for him, and concentrate on what they can do to improve the condition of the ummah.

Quite frankly this will be the only response we give in his regard, but it is our obligation to speak the truth when it comes to Islam and we sincerely advise people to stay away from him. You will find his work only cut and paste and when he does speak it so incoherent, flimsy and nonsensical that a response would only be a waste of time. He knows nothing whatsoever and we advise all to just ignore him, he speaks with nothing considered evidence in the deen, and is full of contradictions. He is back in the U.S. and so has complete leisure of free speech. So, if you are young and just started learning, you should refrain from reading his deception which is meant to sow dissension in the hearts of the believers and is from none other than the shaytan. If, on the other hand, he continues to waste his time talking about our so-called deviations, well then he merely has to confront us with evidence in live debate so we can establish the truth and stop hiding behind cut and paste from Shaikh google and his own inability to interpret Qaradawi’s book which I can assure you he has read less than a handful of.

With regard to the other request about speech and knowledge then you are much too kind. The best thing you can do is read what we post on the site, watch the vids, attend the classes with Faisal and ours in the future inshallah and then take up your own efforts at attaining a skill by studying within an institution and taking knowledge serious as you do. I also implore you to always be with book and become a voracious reader. Imam Bukhari was asked: “What is it that strengthens one’s memory?” He replied: “Constantly looking through books.” You must memorize as well so that things fit together and you can speak from your heart where knowledge memorized finds a home.

With regard to the question about Abu Talha, then he left RM long before his arrest and brother Bilal was reacting emotionally to the sentencing of our sister in the UK. Perhaps he overreacted. AllahuAlim…. We love all Muslims for the sake of Allah and any all other questions about Yousef al Khattab will have to be addressed in private as I prefer to talk about others only when they are present.

I understand the inquisition, but it is best to email islampolicy@gmail with inquisitions about individuals. May Allah bless you all...

Brother Younus

I have long to find out what's going on lately with RM. I tried several times to ask Brother Yusuf Khatab but to no avail. I still love him and all members of former RM.com or info. As for me personally, I detest finding fault with individual. But I thank you brother for clarifying the matters. This further shows how screwed this Ummah is. May Allah unite us on righteousness. Ameen
